Horseshoe helped to put poker on the map and its popularity has never been greater. In response, we’re creating a new poker room, scheduled to open in mid-May. The new space will allow for 16 poker tables with an adjacent service and snack bar. The existing poker room will be converted into a slot area with more of your favorite slots.
Currently there are: 12 Tables - Poker Room Manager -  Jack Effel 1-800-303-7463 Ext. 5756 or 5755.  Poker players receive special hotel rates of $25 on weekdays and $35 on weekends with 5 hours of play. Games available - 1-5 Stud, Hold'em 4-8 to 20-40, 4-8 Omaha Hi Low split, Pot Limit Omaha, Triple Ball low ball.

WEEKLY POKER ROOM TOURNAMENTS• Private Poker Tables
The Hollywood Poker Room now offers Private Poker Tables day or night – with a minimum of eight players. Call the Poker Room at 1-800-871-0711 ext. 5005 for more details or to reserve your private table. Each private table will qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot.

• Pocket Aces Cracked (back by popular demand!) When Hollywood Poker players lose with pocket aces in any Texas Hold-Em game between the hours of 9am on Wednesdays and 6am on Thursdays, they receive $50 in chips. Requirements are: $30 in the pot including rake and jackpot dollars, hand must be played to showdown and all cards turned face up and read by dealer and games with a reduced rake do not qualify.

• No Limit Texas Hold-em Bounty Hunter Tournament The Hollywood Poker room offers a Bounty Hunter tournament every Tuesday at 7pm.There is a $50 buy-in and a $20 entry fee. All players start with $3,000 in tournament chips. Blinds double every 20 minutes. Antes increase in $1,000 increments. There is a prize pool payout. A $25 bounty will be paid for each player eliminated. The last bounty is worth $50. Seating is limited to 54 players.

• Hollywood’s No Limit Texas Hold-Em SaturdayTournament The Hollywood Poker Room now offers No Limit Hold-Em Tournament - $2,000 Guaranteed Pool every Saturday at 2pm. There is a $20 Entry Fee and a $50 Buy In. All players start with $1,000 in tournament chips. Only one $50 re-buy for $4,000 in tournament chips per guest. Blinds double every 20 minutes. Antes increase in $1,000 increments. Prize money is split between the top five places as follows: 1st –35%, 2nd – 25%, 3rd – 20%, 4th – 11%, and 5th – 9%. There is a maximum of 54 players for this tournament.
