WHERE'S
THE BEEF?
You may not be old enough to remember the
little elderly lady on the TV Commercials screaming "Where's the Beef?" but
if she were looking for it today, the end of the rainbow for her would be at
Sheraton Casino Tunica at Louie's Steakhouse.
(Pictured Louie's Chef Raymond
Carter, Gerald Faucher,
and Asst. Executive Chef Allan Rupert)
Louie's offers it's patrons a challenge. If anyone can eat
their delicious
char grilled 48 oz Porterhouse Steak their name goes on the Louie's Hall of
Fame just at the entrance to the restaurant.
Can you qualify for the Louie's Hall of Fame? Already this year 48 times (as
of 4-23-05) the Colossal Steak at Louie's has been consumed. Along with the
114 from 2004 brings the total to 162 Porterhouse Steaks 48 oz each
weighing in at 7,776 ounces, that's 486 lbs!
Now there's the Beef! Just think some of these guys
have done it more than once! Gerald Faucher, from Southaven, MS, recently
finished his THIRD listing on the Louie's Hall of Fame. And I must say he
finished it with a smile. Along with Gerald are other multi achievers. Gary
Cole 4 times in two months! Bobby Butler 6 times! Brad Mueller is off to a
good start for 2005 with two times.
Two thumbs up to Asst. Executive Chef Allan Rupert and Chef Raymond Carter
(pictured a the top) for making Louie's "The Place to Go".
