KENNY
WAYNE SHEPHERD
Kenny Wayne Shepherd is one of the most
acclaimed guitarists of his generation.
A few years ago, Kenny Wayne Shepherd took a
well-deserved vacation after touring for eight years to support his previous
three albums. All proves to show that his long awaited release The Place
You’re In was worth the wait when he reveals the intense musical passion
in this new recording, the first to feature his soulful vocals. This is the
most innovative album of his career and reveals a fresh new dimension of his
multi-faceted musical talent.
Shepherd’s music is hopefully sending a
positive message and a little hope and optimism for the future. Shepherd
has also indulged his fans with such hits as “Alive,” “Blue on Black,” and
“Live On.”
The Shreveport, Louisiana native untapped his
singing abilities in a single auspicious moment in early 2003 and from that
moment, he knew he had to take the chance and give it all he’s got. That
has been a trademark for Kenny Wayne Shepherd since he was 13 years old. At
13 years old he was earning critical acclaim in clubs, and while still in
high school, he recorded his first album Ledbetter Heights in 1995
which was certified gold by the RIAA.
