TUNICA, MS – Grand Willows Sporting Clays & Hunting Center at Grand Casino Resort officially launched quail season October 1 when it adds an estimated 10,000 birds to its facility and offers a 20% discount for all quail hunts in October.

When hunting season opens in Mississippi, Grand Willows will be ready to host hunters from across the nation. Throughout quail season, October 1 – March 31, hunters from all skill levels can enjoy a half day or a full day of quail hunting with a professional guide, trained pointing dogs, field transportation, bird processing and so much more! Willows also provides an out-of-state, private bird-hunting license for $13.00 to Non- Mississippi residents as well as loaner shotguns for those who don’t bring their own.

Dove hunting is also available seasonally, as set by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks. These excursions also include a professional guide, dogs, transportation and bird processing.

Grand Willows also has plenty to offer the non-hunter. Its world-class Sporting Clays facility is a surefire hit for the whole family. Sporting Clays, often referred to as “golf with a shotgun,” is the fastest growing shooting sport in the country. Unlike the regulated games of trap and skeet, sporting clays simulates a realistic hunting environment, presenting shooters with varying targets in a safe, controlled atmosphere. First-time shooters and competitors alike will enjoy the Willows’ world-class facility and professional staff.

Grand Willows is the perfect place for corporate outings and team-building exercises with its three exciting side games. 5 Stand Sporting: A 25 round game that is a condensed version of the sporting clays course; Make-A-Break: A fast paced game in which competitors shoot alternately from a single shooting stand at a total of 10 report doubles; and the popular Duck Flush: A simulated Mississippi duck blind where shooters fire simultaneously as fast as they can load and shoot. Up to 75 birds in three minutes!
