WORLEY TO PERFORM AT HORSESHOE
He’s new country with an old style. Darryl
Worley has left a lasting impression on the Nashville sound and Nashville
likes it. From the opening notes of “Awful Beautiful Life” on his new CD
you understand exactly where this man is coming from. He’s a basic, get
back to your roots and get it out there sort of man, and it comes through
his music.
Worley debuted on the country charts with a
trio of top-20 hits in 2000-01, “When You Need My Love,” “A Good Day To Run”
and “Second Wind.” His breakthrough year was 2002 with the release of “I
Miss My Friend.” Then current events intervened and in 2003 Worley released
the No. 1 hit “Have You Forgotten.”
